Role description

In this role, you will be a part in advancing our analytical capabilities to support product quality, innovation, and research excellence. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to provide expert guidance on analytical methodologies and ensure high standards across all scientific activities.

You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance and optimize analytical methods, improve data accuracy, and introduce new technologies that strengthen our R&D performance. You will also drive the development, validation, and troubleshooting of analytical techniques to ensure reliable and reproducible results.

In collaboration with the wider R&D, QC, and QA, you will implement robust analytical solutions, support the adoption of advanced instrumentation, and contribute to building a strong, future-ready scientific capability within the organization.

Your Mission

  • Develop and validate analytical methods
    Design, optimize, and validate robust analytical methodologies to ensure accuracy, precision, and reproducibility of results.

  • Generate reliable scientific insights
    Deliver high-quality data and translate complex results into meaningful insights that support product development and decision-making.

  • Leverage advanced analytical technologies
    Utilize and oversee instruments such as GC-FID, HPLC, and GC-MS, Tensiometer, Viscometer to produce consistent and high-quality analytical outputs.

  • Drive innovation in analytical capabilities
    Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies and techniques to enhance laboratory performance and efficiency.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally
    Work closely with R&D, QA, QC, and engineering teams to align on project goals and ensure seamless execution of analytical activities.

  • Interpret and communicate data effectively
    Analyze complex datasets and present findings in a clear, structured manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Build and share scientific expertise
    Support knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring to strengthen team capabilities and promote best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related scientific field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in analytical laboratories, with hands-on exposure to method development and validation.

  • Proven ability to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot analytical methods to achieve reliable and reproducible results.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify root causes.

  • High level of accuracy, organization, and consistency in executing laboratory work and documentation.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical findings.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and adopt new analytical technologies.

  • High curiosity and strong interest in research, particularly in the field of Organic Chemistry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in analytical techniques and instrumentation such as GC, HPLC, and/or mass spectrometry.

  • Experience working in a multinational company, preferably within the fragrance and flavor industry.

  • Ability to design and conduct scientific experiments.
